St. Catharines – The Niagara River Lions are proud to announce a new corporate partnership with Moksha Yoga St. Catharines. This partnership is a vital part of the upcoming season as it will extend both on and off the court.
Since its opening in 2012, Moksha Yoga has brought a hot yoga studio to the Niagara area that is committed to ethical, compassionate and environmentally conscious living.
“Aligning with Moksha Yoga just made sense for the River Lions. We truly believe in supporting local businesses, and Moksha has many of the same basic principles as the River Lions do in that they believe in healthy living and community outreach,” said Corporate Partnerships & Sales Manager, Josh Knoester.
With this new partnership, River Lions players will add a new dimension to their training schedule which will further enhance the work they put in at the gym. Practicing this style of yoga will help to strengthen, tone and loosen muscles, while also calming the mind and reducing stress.
“Moksha Yoga St. Catharines is thrilled to join forces with the Niagara River Lions. We are inspired by their desire to add yoga as a compliment to their training and we look forward to hosting the team in the hot room, giving them another competitive edge this upcoming season,” Owner Tracy Duru continued, “Community support is a common value we share and together we can make an even greater impact in Niagara. We also value having fun, and the games are exciting and accessible events that happen right in downtown St. Catharines.”
Look for Moksha Yoga St. Catharines to present the starting line-ups on Wednesday, November the 9th when the River Lions host the Raptors 905 in an exhibition game at the Meridian Centre.
