Tutu began his collegiate career at Loyola Marymount College where he played for two years before transferring to Carleton University in 2017. Tutu was a key piece to the Ravens success, as he helped the team to two U SPORTS Championships and 3 OUA titles. Throughout his three years at Carleton, he averaged 10.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.6 steals per game, and was named OUA Third Team All-Star in 2019-20.
A native of Cairo, Egypt, Tutu moved to Canada at nine-months old and has had the opportunity to represent Canada on several occasions including at the Commonwealth Games in Australia where he
averaged 10.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.0 steals, and was named a First Team All-Star for the tournament.
Tutu made his professional debut during the 2020 CEBL Summer Series, where he played 8 games for the Ottawa Blackjacks.
This past season, Tutu played for Ehingen Urspring in Germany where he averaged 16.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.
